Who We Are

Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Educational Institutions were established in the year 1972 jointly by Prof.Sunanda.P.Jadhav with Sri.N.Ragunath Rao Maanay in memory of his parents Smt.Bhageerathi Bai and Sri.Narayana Rao Maanay.

Our Founder & Trustee Late.Sri.N.Ragunath Rao Maanay was assisted by Prof.Sunanda.P.Jadhav our Founder Secretary and Late.Sri.S.P.Rajanna, the first President of our Educational Institution for its steady growth.

Prof.B.C.Rajanna took over as President and he is presently the Chairman of BNMEI. The Institution is steadily progressing under the able guidance and administration of our present Secretary Sri.Narayana Rao Maanay and our Joint Secretary Sri.Ashok R.Maanay.

Many philanthropic people have put service before self and built this institution which has grown into a banyan tree taking roots from its many branches.

In the year 1974-75 Prof.Sunanda.P.Jadhav and our beloved founder Sri.N.Ragunath Rao Maanay established the B.N.M Degree College to cater to the increasing demand for higher education in the southern part of Bangalore at Banashankari II Stage. Our college has the credit of giving admissions to all those who have sought higher education without any discrimination of Caste, Community, Creed or Merit.

We are pleased to place on record our students’ performance in the Bangalore University Examination. In the Commerce Stream, our students have been scoring above 68% in almost all the subjects. In the 6th Semester our outgoing students have secured 96% in Business Regulations, 88% in Principles and Practice of Auditing, 97% in Income Tax – II, 80% in Management Accounting, 99% in Business Taxation - II, 95% in Accounting for Business Decisions and IFRS, 68% in Corporate Financial Policy & 86% in Security Analysis & Portfolio Management.

In the B.B.M. Stream, our Management Students are doing well academically, scoring above 77%. Subject wise results are as follows International Business 98%, E-Business 100%, Income Tax 91%, Strategic Management 100%, Organizational Change & Development 83%, Compensation Management 83%, International HRM 70% and Exim & Forex Management 70%.

Our track record in Placements of students is improving year after year. Here is the glimpse of Placements during this academic year of our Students. Our students are placed in prestigious companies such as Prolific, Infosys, Greet Technologies, Knowledge hut, Wipro & Accenture.

The endeavours and the efforts of the Management, Principal and Staff have resulted in skillful management and progress of overall development of the personality of the students admitted to the institution year after year.
