Code of Conduct for Students

Experience a good Education

1. Students are advised to be present in the college at least fifteen minutes before the commencement of classes. They should be present by -9.45am.

2. Prayer will be held at 10:00 am in their respective classes which must be attended by every student.

3. Every student must obtain the Identity Card from the college office and wear the same to the college every day.

4. No misbehavior will be tolerated in the college premises such as whistling. loitering and shouting.

5. Student should uphold the culture, rules and regulations of the college.

6. Ragging is banned in the college campus. Students guilty of ragging or abetting ragging are dealt with severely as per the directives of the U.G.C and the Government.

7. Decency and decorum should be maintained by the students throughout their presence in the college campus.

8. Attendance is compulsory and students must have 75% attendance to give the Bangalore University Examination.

9. All students must follow hygiene and healthy habits. General cleanliness shall be observed in college campus.

10. No property of the college shall be broken or damaged by the students. Any one guilty of such acts will be punished.

11. Obstruction to teaching by the students in the class room or any other academic activity is prohibited and offenders are dealt with severely.

12. Use of Mobile Phones is banned in the college campus except on special occasions with the permission of the authorities.

13. Every student should attend the Tests and Examinations conducted in the college without fail.

14. Assignments and project work allotted to the student shall be completed within the prescribed time.

15. Possession and use of tobacco or any other intoxicating material is strictly Gayathri Ban 15. Prohibited in the college tobacco or any other intoxicating material is strictly prohibited in the college.

Teachers are required to carry out following duties and responsibilities during every academic year:

  1. Prepare the Programme of Work for each semester on every subject before one week of the commencement of classes and submit the same to the Principal.
  2. Prepare fresh notes on all subjects on each chapter / topic and submit a copy of the same before starting of a new chapter to the undersigned.
  3. Identify the weak students in your subject and make separate group. Compulsorily conduct extra coaching classes regularly for all the students to improve their performance.
  4. Maintain Work-Dairy for all the days and submit the same every week to the undersigned.
  5. Prepare the question papers and submit the same to the Principal at-least four days before the test. Evaluate the papers and submit the marks sheet to the Principal.
  6. Do not apply for leave during Tests, Examinations and Functions.
  7. Be alert and aware of the academic and other activities of the College.
  8. Do not enter the class late nor leave the class early. Do not leave the College premises during the working hours.
  9. Whenever you go out of the College premises for lunch or any other purpose enter the same in the Movement Register and Bio-Metric equipment without fail.
  10. It is your duty to go on disciplinary check in the class room and outside the class room.
  11. Do not ignore the works and responsibilities assigned to you.
  12. Always give priority to College work than personal work. Prepare well for every class and do justice with the students. Don’t do any business or private work in the College.
  13. Be present at-least half-an-hour before every College programe and ensure that there is discipline among the students during the programe.
  14. In an Academic Year Management Staff will be allotted 12 days Leave. In case leave exceeds salary shall be deducted.
  15. It is compulsory to submit the leave note and inform in the Office.
    Perform all the above duties without fail.
